Inkjet or laser printer
There are so many types of printers out there in the world. Generally these fall under two categories, though, the inkjet printer and the laser printer. Both of them are great, but both of them do different things. Both of them have different uses too. If you are on the market, not sure how or what you need, you should probably figure that out before breaking out your wallet. You basically just need to know which one is the best to go with for your particular needs. To watch a quick video on the differences, check out Youtube. Inkjet printers use liquid ink and laser printers use toner. The toner is a very fine powder.
If you are in the market for a personal printer, portable printer, home office printer or photo printer, most likely you want to go with an inkjet printer. One reason is because they are so cheap upfront. You won’t have to pay too terribly much to take it home and get it up and running. The only problem with ink is that sometimes the cartridges have a somewhat high cost per page, so you will want to know exactly how much you are willing to spend each month on ink tanks. If you plan on printing a lot of graphics, this is definitely the way to go.
For those of you who do a lot more text printing or simple graphics laser printers are probably the best choice. Offices and businesses definitely will want a laser printer—mostly because the toner used inside of it. Using toner, you will create the best resolutions for text possible, and the text will look sharp and professional. Toner cartridges also offer a low cost per page that will make you very happy. Whether you print a lot or a little, one of these machines is right for you.
